Story:
Lara Croft, yet again, wants to outsmart Werner Von Croy. Several years after the Cambodia incident, Von Croy has come across some interesting reading at his mansion in Rome. After some research and calculation, he is surprised to see that it refers to an as yet undiscovered temple deep beneath the streets, closer to home than he expected. Naturally, word and rumour spread. Lara found out soon enough, and decided that whatever her former mentor had found, she was going to get there first. She prepares a trip to Rome, where she will infiltrate his abode and attempt to find his notes, before Werner enters the temple and claims the prizes for his own extravagant museum. 

Background:
I have worked on this levelset since December 2006, after finally doing the tutorial level! It's been like a 5 level tutorial for me, during which I've learnt a lot.

Moves:

Some of these moves are made possible with TREP. In case they are unfamiliar to you:

-In the patched tomb4.exe, Lara can roll out of crawlspaces. To do this, press 'Alt' when at the end, overlooking the ground below. This move is especially useful in one secret area in Werner's Mansion, where you might otherwise think you are stuck!

-In a crawlspace, press space to make Lara go from crawling to kneeling. Then press / (sprint) to make Lara roll quickly through the crawlspace.

-For tightrope walking, press control and forwards, using left and right to steady Lara, and then leaving her a few seconds before continuing. You can also jump forwards from the tightrope, which is necessary in the last level. 

-Lara can open certain cupboards (sarcophaguses in TRLE language). Sometimes, especially in the case of TRC ones, you have to step back once away from the cupboard before Lara will open it. 

-Lara shimmies faster thanks to Geckokid. No real gameplay use, but it makes shimmying a lot less boring! 

Using the shovel: 
You have to select the shovel from the inventory in the right place, like you use the waterskin. If Lara is not in the right place, she will simply put the shovel away again and it will remain in the inventory. Make sure that when you select the shovel, Lara has a little space in front so that she will bring the shovel down in the correct place.

How to avoid/solve bugs: 

-In Rome By Night, there is a key on a table you have to pick up. This can be a bit tricky , but if you place Lara at the corner of the table, she should pick it up.

-When shooting objects using the lasersight, release the look button as soon as you hit the target to avoid missing a helpful camera in level 2. I've left about 4 seconds in this case, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. 

-If the view is weird after a flyby where Lara was just using the lasersight, simply save and reload and the normal camera will be back.

Tips:

-In the last level, remember that swan dives take Lara than normal jumps, like in the last levels of TR2!
